Job summary

TechAhead is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across mobile, web, cloud, and AI-driven projects. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, remove blockers, and help cross-functional groups deliver business value.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in Scrum/Agile roles, strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps. You will collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to drive continuous improvement and predictable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Experience managing Agile teams in software development.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Agile principles and best practices to improve delivery maturity.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones and monitor sprint execution.
• Track velocity, burn-down charts and delivery metrics for transparency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Design and DevOps.
• Support risk, impediment and dependency management.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, foster continuous improvement, remove delivery impediments, and enable high-performing cross-functional teams to consistently deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Scrum Facilitation

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
• Ensure effective sprint execution and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Track sprint progress, team velocity, burn-down charts, and delivery metrics.

Team Coaching & Collaboration

• Mentor development, QA, design, and product teams to improve Agile maturity.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, prioritization, and release planning.
• Encourage self-organizing and high-performing teams.

Impediment & Risk Management

• Identify, track, and remove team impediments and blockers.
• Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations.
• Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to resolve delivery challenges.
• Drive root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate communication between business teams, Product Owners, and engineering teams.
• Provide regular status updates and sprint reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivery outcomes.
• Support client-facing discussions when required.

Process Improvement & Metrics

• Monitor Agile KPIs such as velocity, sprint predictability, cycle time, and release success.
• Implement Agile best practices and continuous process improvements.
• Promote Agile tools and frameworks to improve team efficiency.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled productivity tools to enhance Agile delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Coordinator.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing Agile teams in software development environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools.
• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams comprising Product, Engineering, QA, Design, and DevOps.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in mobile application, web application, or digital product delivery.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar productivity platforms.
• Experience in enterprise product development and digital transformation projects.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.
• Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.
