Job summary

Dashverse is seeking a skilled Screenplay Writer to join our creative team. You will lead from ideation to a full screenplay for the American market, ensuring localization and quality checks throughout the scripting process.

You will collaborate with writers and producers, maintain high standards of narrative pace and momentum, and leverage AI tools to enhance development and storytelling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in English fiction writing, screenwriting, TV, or serialized storytelling (preferably micro dramas).
• Proven ability to write original screenplays in English (portfolio/work samples required).
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, cliffhangers, and episode momentum.
• Understanding of microdrama and short-form serialized storytelling.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. market, audience, and storytelling preferences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to effectively use AI tools in writing and development (AI-generated scripts a plus).
• Problem-solving approach and proficiency in English, especially American English.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Screenplay Writer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be involved from pitching ideas/concepts to writing a full fledged Screenplay for the American market.

Your Part

• Content Lifecycle Management: Own the complete scripting process including ideation,localization, scripting, and quality check of the script.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with other writers and producers to create the best quality content
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the project meets the company’s high standards for quality, style, and consistency; provide constructive feedback and support to the team.
• Team player: Cultivate a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting creativity and professional growth within the creative team.
• Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate new techniques in the content production process.

Mandatory Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in English fiction writing, screenwriting, TV, or serialized storytelling (Preferably micro dramas)

• Strong, comprehensive understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, cliffhangers, and episode momentum.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines and expectations
• Ability to effectively use AI tools as part of the writing and development process (Experience in using AI to generate script is a plus)
