Job summary

Job description

• 1. Knowledge and use of concepts, practices, procedures. Applies basic knowledge of coatings, resins, and curing chemistries for certain segment, technology, or process to a business specific application.
• 2. Panel preparation & testing as per product specification.
• 3. Interprets and analyzes results, makes suggestions on path forward and contributes to formulating work plans and managing daily workflow {involves Preparing paint samples (including Pre-mixing, Grinding, Thinning) as per Formulation / Guidelines given by Supervisor; Panel preparation & testing as per product specification}
• 4. Produces accurate and timely results with guidance from supervisor defined timeline (multi-projects); Has proven ability to meet project milestones.
• 5. Demonstrates ownership mindset and removes obstacles to deliver on commitments.
• 6. Authority and decision making limited to decisions of low impact.
• 7. Provides input into technical discussions. Effectively communicates work progress/research results by giving internal presentations at project team meetings.
• 8. Participates in customer and supplier meetings.

• 13. Graduate / Postgraduate in Chemistry, Polymer science, Paint Technology, Chemical engineering, Diploma in Paint Technology.
• 14. Minimum 3-5 years related work experience in Coatings or allied industry.
