Job summary

RGBSI in Pune is seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to design, implement, configure, monitor, and maintain SCADA systems for wind energy projects. The role involves collaborating with project teams to ensure reliable data acquisition, remote monitoring, and cybersecurity compliance.

Travel to project sites is required for commissioning and support. Key tasks include designing SCADA servers/ HMIs/ PLCs, testing, integration with PPC/EMS, and documentation of system architecture and diagrams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of SCADA experience, preferably in renewable energy (wind/solar).
• Strong networking knowledge and industrial communication protocols.
• Hands-on with Wind PPC, EMS, or Utility Dispatch systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations for SCADA in India.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites for commissioning and support.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for wind farms.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to support the design, implementation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SCADA systems for wind energy projects. The role involves working closely with project, operations, and IT teams to ensure reliable data acquisition, remote monitoring, cybersecurity compliance, and seamless integration with grid operators and customer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems (servers, HMIs, RTUs, PLCs, databases) for wind farms.
• Ensure reliable real-time monitoring and control of wind turbines.
• Develop and maintain communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, etc.).
• Troubleshoot network, communication, and system integration issues between wind turbines, PPC (Power Plant Controller), and grid.
• Perform system testing, SAT, and commissioning of SCADA systems for new projects.
• Support remote and on-site troubleshooting of SCADA alarms, data integrity, and system availability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and utility/grid operators to ensure seamless integration and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation (system architecture, communication diagrams, and O&M manuals).
• Train O&M teams on SCADA system usage and monitoring tools.

Qualifications & Skills:
