Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer in Hyderabad to design, implement, configure, monitor, and maintain SCADA systems for wind energy projects. You will collaborate with project, operations, and IT teams to ensure reliable data acquisition and secure grid integration.

Responsibilities include configuring SCADA components, ensuring real-time monitoring, and developing communication protocols. Travel to project sites for commissioning and support is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of SCADA experience in renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of networking and industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, IEC 104, OPC, etc.).
• Experience with Wind PPC, EMS, or Utility Dispatch systems.
• Awareness of cybersecurity regulations for SCADA in India.
• Willingness to travel to project sites for commissioning and support.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems (servers, HMIs, RTUs, PLCs, databases) for wind farms.
• Ensure reliable real-time monitoring and control of wind turbines.
• Develop and maintain communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, etc.).
• Troubleshoot network, communication, and system integration issues between wind turbines, PPC, and grid.
• Perform system testing, SAT, and commissioning of SCADA systems for new projects.
• Support remote and on-site troubleshooting of SCADA alarms, data integrity, and system availability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and utility/grid operators to ensure seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation (system architecture, diagrams, and O&M manuals).
• Train O&M teams on SCADA system usage and monitoring tools.

Qualifications & Skills:
