Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to support the design, implementation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SCADA systems for wind energy projects in India. Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in SCADA systems, preferably in renewable energy (wind/solar/hybrid).
• Strong knowledge of Networking; Industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, IEC 104, OPC, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in Wind PPC, EMS, or Utility Dispatch systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations for SCADA in India.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems (servers, HMIs, RTUs, PLCs, databases) for wind farms.
• Ensure reliable real-time monitoring and control of wind turbines.
• Develop and maintain communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, etc.).
• Troubleshoot network, communication, and system integration issues between wind turbines, PPC, and grid.
• Perform system testing, SAT, and commissioning of SCADA systems for new projects.
• Support remote and on-site troubleshooting of SCADA alarms, data integrity, and system availability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and utility/grid operators to ensure seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation (system architecture, communication diagrams, and O&M manuals).
• Train O&M teams on SCADA system usage and monitoring tools.
