Job summary

RGBSI seeks a skilled SCADA Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and maintain SCADA systems for wind energy projects in India. You will collaborate with project, operations, and IT teams to ensure reliable data acquisition, remote monitoring, and cybersecurity compliance while integrating with grid operators and customer systems.

Responsibilities include configuring SCADA components, developing communication protocols, and supporting commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in SCADA, preferably in renewable energy (wind/solar/hybrid).
• Strong knowledge of Networking and industrial protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, IEC 104, OPC).
• Hands-on experience with Wind PPC, EMS, or Utility Dispatch systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations for SCADA in India.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites for commissioning and support.

• Perform system testing, SAT, and commissioning of SCADA systems for new projects.
• Support remote and on-site troubleshooting of SCADA alarms, data integrity, and system availability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and grid operators to ensure seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation (system architecture, diagrams, O&M manuals).
• Train O&M teams on SCADA system usage and monitoring tools.
