Job summary

Manpowergroup Services India is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of power control and automation systems at project sites in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of PLC, PPC, SCADA, and electrical systems, with willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities include FAT/SAT testing, IO loop testing, and system integration activities across India and international project locations.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) required.
• Diploma/BE in Electrical Engineering acceptable.
• Hands-on knowledge of PLC, PPC, SCADA and electrical systems with willingness to travel.

Job Description

We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of power control and automation systems at project sites. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on knowledge of PLC, PPC, SCADA, and electrical systems, along with a willingness to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in commissioning PLC, PPC, and SCADA automation systems at project sites.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), IO loop testing, and functional testing.
• Support PLC/SCADA configuration, troubleshooting, and system integration activities.
• Check electrical panel wiring, cable connectivity, and IP configuration.
• Work with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP-IP and IEC 61850, IEC 101/104.

Required Skills

• BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• 1–3 years of experience in commissioning, electrical automation, or control systems.
• Basic hands‑on knowledge of PLC platforms such as Siemens, Schneider, Allen‑Bradley, or GE.
• Understanding of PPC, SCADA, electrical panels, and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of FAT/SAT, IO testing, and industrial communication protocols will be an advantage.
• Good communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 100% across India and international project locations.
