Job summary

EVERGREEN CREATIONS is seeking a skilled Substation Automation Engineer (SCADA/PLC) to join our team for substation projects across India. The role is on-site across India, requiring hands-on commissioning, configuration, and integration of automation systems in field environments.

You will configure and commission IEDs, RTUs, PLCs, and SCADA, work with IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, and collaborate with OEMs and clients to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in substation automation and commissioning.
• Strong understanding of substation architecture, control & protection schemes, and signal flow.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India as per project requirements.
• Experience with Schneider Electric PLCM580 / SAITEL (T500) platform.
• Hands-on with EcoStruxure Automation Expert, EcoSUI, and Control Expert software.
• Working knowledge of C264 PACiS and its configuration in SCADA environments.
• This is a full-time, site-based/client office role with travel requirements across India.
• A service agreement is mandatory to ensure project continuity and covers onboarding investment recovery in case of early exit.

Responsibilities

• Configure and commission substation automation systems including IEDs, RTUs, PLCs, and SCADA.
• Work with IEC 61850, DNP3, and Modbus protocols for real-time data exchange.
• Conduct FAT/SAT, panel testing, IO verification, and support post-commissioning maintenance.
• Prepare SCADA logic, communication configurations, and interface documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams, OEMs, and client stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
