Job summary

GyanSys Inc. Bengaluru-based team seeks a SAP VIM specialist to act as SME, resolve production incidents, troubleshoot invoice workflows, and drive permanent fixes across enterprise SAP environments.

You will lead AMS stabilization, knowledge management, training and enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives, while exploring GenAI opportunities, AI-driven self-service, and collaborating with ERP, developers, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting SAP Vendor Invoice Management (OpenText VIM) in enterprise SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• SAP VIM Support: resolve production incidents and requests, troubleshoot invoice workflows, and drive permanent fixes.
• AMS Stabilization: strengthen AMS support processes, improve operational maturity, close knowledge gaps, establish best practices, and mentor support teams.
• Knowledge Management: develop and maintain knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, runbooks, and operational documentation.
• Training & Enablement: create onboarding programs, role-based training, end-user guides, and self-service resources to improve adoption.
• Continuous Improvement: analyze support trends, reduce recurring incidents, optimize processes, and implement Shift-Left strategies through documentation, automation, and self-service.
• AI & Automation: identify GenAI opportunities, develop GPT-based knowledge assistants, optimize knowledge content for AI, and enable AI-driven self-service.
• Collaboration: partner with technical leads, AMS, business stakeholders, developers, and ERP teams to drive operational excellence and long-term solutions.
• Required Technical Expertise: SAP, OpenText VIM, FI/MM, invoice processing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP VIM Support: Act as SAP VIM SME, resolve production incidents and requests, troubleshoot invoice workflows, and drive permanent fixes for recurring issues.

AMS Stabilization: Strengthen AMS support processes, improve operational maturity, close knowledge gaps, establish best practices, and mentor support teams.

Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, runbooks, and operational documentation.

Training & Enablement: Create onboarding programs, role-based training, end-user guides, and self-service resources to improve adoption and reduce support demand.

Continuous Improvement: Analyze support trends, reduce recurring incidents, optimize processes, and implement Shift-Left strategies through documentation, automation, and self-service.

AI & Automation: Identify GenAI opportunities, develop GPT-based knowledge assistants, optimize knowledge content for AI, and enable AI-driven self-service.

Collaboration: Partner with technical leads, AMS, business stakeholders, developers, and ERP teams to drive operational excellence and long-term solutions.

Required Technical Expertise:

• SAP: OpenText VIM, SAP FI/MM, invoice processing, workflow configuration, exception handling, and approval processes.
• Operations: Production support, incident & service request management, RCA, problem management, and knowledge management.
• Continuous Improvement: Process optimization, documentation & training, support model enhancement, KPI analysis, and Shift-Left strategies.
• AI & Automation: Generative AI knowledge assistants (GPT), knowledge base optimization, self-service enablement, and process automation.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience supporting SAP Vendor Invoice Management (OpenText VIM) in enterprise SAP environments.
• Demonstrated success leading production support stabilization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI, MM, and invoice processing workflows.
• Experience creating operational documentation, knowledge bases, and onboarding materials.
• Experience analyzing support metrics and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex functional concepts.
