Job summary

Next Ventures seeks an experienced SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Functional Consultant to drive a major SAP transformation from India (Offshore). The role focuses on creating Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and Process Design Documents (PDDs) and supporting VIM configuration and solution design.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SAP VIM Functional Consultant on SAP implementation or transformation projects.
• Hands-on experience with SAP OpenText Vendor Invoice Management configuration.
• Knowledge of SAP FI/AP and integration with SAP MM is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and Process Design Documents (PDDs).
• Configure and support SAP VIM solutions to meet business requirements.
• Document end-to-end invoice processing workflows, including invoice capture, validation, approval and exception handling.
• Work with business stakeholders and SAP functional and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support solution design, configuration, testing and defect resolution.
• Ensure SAP VIM processes integrate effectively with SAP FI/AP and relevant procurement processes.
• Collaborate with onshore teams to resolve queries, incorporate feedback and maintain documentation quality.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Functional Consultant to support a major SAP transformation programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and Process Design Documents (PDDs), alongside supporting SAP VIM configuration and solution design.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and Process Design Documents (PDDs).
• Configure and support SAP VIM solutions to meet business requirements.
• Document end-to-end invoice processing workflows, including invoice capture, validation, approval and exception handling.

• SAP S/4HANA experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within an offshore delivery model and collaborating with onshore teams.
