Job summary

EXA AG, a SAP-focused firm, seeks an experienced SAP SD consultant with 8+ years, based in Bangalore's center of excellence. You will drive end-to-end SD processes, migrations from ECC to S/4HANA, and data-related activities for multiple global clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as SAP SD consultant with strong end-to-end SD process knowledge.
• Experience in migration and transformation projects (ECC to S/4HANA).
• Ability to conduct client workshops and translate business requirements into migration solutions.
• Independent ownership of migration content and execution.
• ABAP programming/debugging related to migration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on SAP Data Migration projects focusing on SAP Sales & distribution.
• Analyze master and transactional data from a functional business perspective.
• Conduct client workshops to gather migration requirements and translate into technical approaches.
• Design, prepare, validate, and support migration objects and activities.
• Own the entire module migration scope and deliver migration content independently.
• Collaborate with business users, consultants, and technical teams to ensure data quality and successful migration.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and load activities.
• Participate in mock loads, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live support.
• Contribute to basic ABAP programming for migration development and troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior team members.

Your Role

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Sales and Distribution. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end SD processes, configuration, integrations, and S/4HANA implementations. Experience in migration and transformation projects will be an added advantage.

• Work on SAP Data Migration projects with focus on SAP Sales & distribution.
• Analyze and understand master and transaction data from a functional business perspective.
• Conduct client workshops to gather data migration requirements and translate them into technical implementation approaches.
• Design, prepare, validate, and support migration objects and migration activities.
• Take ownership of the entire module migration scope and deliver migration content independently.
• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure data quality and successful migration execution.
• Perform and support data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and load activities.
• Participate in mock loads, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live support.
• Contribute to basic ABAP programming activities required for migration development and troubleshooting.
• Mentor and support junior team members when required.

Your Profile

• 8+ years of experience working as an SAP SD consultant.
• Good understanding of SAP Master Data and Transactional Data from a SAP SD perspective.
• Ability to conduct customer workshops and convert business requirements into technical migration solutions.
• Experience in 1 to 2 end-to-end SAP Migration Projects.
• Should have good understanding of ECC to S/4 differences and experience in Business partner is good to have
• Strong experience in customer-facing roles and working with cross-functional business teams.
• Ability to independently own and deliver migration activities for the assigned module.
• Willingness to perform basic ABAP programming and debugging related to migration requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, coordinate with teams, and mentor team members as needed
