Job summary

Protiviti India is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead a SAP S/4HANA RISE implementation in the Retail sector. You will manage scope, timelines, budget, stakeholders, and vendors in line with SAP Activate methodology.

The role requires 5+ years of SAP project management, strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience, and proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams across SAP, SI, IT and business units. Prior RISE exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years SAP project management experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• RISE with SAP exposure (cloud, hyperscalers, SAP-managed services).
• Proven experience managing large, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA RISE implementation from Discover to Deploy.
• Own project governance, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Manage SAP Activate methodology, including Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Coordinate with SAP, System Integrators, internal IT, and business teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and go-live readiness.
• Drive change management and business stakeholder alignment.
• Provide regular status reporting to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and RISE contractual obligations.
• Manage post go-live hypercare and transition to support teams.
