Job summary

KANNANWARE INNOVATIONS LLP in Chennai seeks an SAP Project Manager with ~5 years of SAP project experience to drive ERP projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end SAP rollout and strong proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Certification in PMP/PRINCE2 or Scrum is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, IT, or related field.
• Around 5 years of SAP project management experience.
• Led at least one full-cycle SAP implementation.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and ERP implementation methodologies.
• Experience with MS Project, Jira, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Lead at least one complete SAP full-cycle implementation from requirement gathering to go-live and hypercare support.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Prepare and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocation, risk registers, and status reports.
• Monitor project progress and address risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, steering committee meetings, and project reviews.
• Track milestones and ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support change management, user training coordination, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Maintain project documentation and governance standards.
• Ensure effective communication across cross-functional teams and leadership.

• Approximately 5 years of experience in SAP project management or SAP functional consulting with project coordination responsibilities.
• Must have managed at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and ERP implementation methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as:
• Microsoft Project
• Jira
• MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum certification would be an added advantage.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA projects preferred.
• Exposure to SAP modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, or SuccessFactors is desirable.
• Experience working with global or cross-cultural teams is an advantage.
