NTT DATA Business Solutions in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad seeks an experienced SAP Program Director to lead regional SAP transformations across the West Region. You will govern large SAP programs, manage client relationships at CXO level, and drive delivery excellence from a senior leadership position.

The role requires 18+ years in SAP delivery, strong program management, and a track record of S/4HANA transformations. This is an on-site role within a dynamic SAP consulting practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• MBA or Postgraduate Management qualification preferred.
• 18+ years of SAP Consulting and Implementation experience.
• 10+ years of Program / Portfolio Management experience.
• Proven track record of managing multiple SAP implementation programs.
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA transformations and large-scale ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Regional Delivery Governance: Lead and oversee SAP implementation projects across the West Region.
• Program Management: Directly manage one or two strategic SAP implementation programs as Program Manager when required.

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced SAP Program Director with 18+ years of hands‑on SAP implementation and delivery experience to lead and govern large SAP transformation programs across the West Region. The role requires a seasoned leader who can drive regional delivery excellence, manage strategic customer relationships, provide executive‑level governance, and directly lead one or two critical SAP implementation programs when required.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of SAP functional and implementation expertise, program management, stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and people leadership. The individual should be capable of managing complex SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives while simultaneously overseeing a portfolio of regional projects.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Delivery Governance

• Lead and oversee SAP implementation projects across the West Region.
• Ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Establish delivery governance frameworks, project reviews, and escalation mechanisms.
• Monitor project health, risks, financial performance, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction.

Program Management

• Directly manage one or two strategic SAP implementation programs as Program Manager when required.
• Drive end‑to‑end execution of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Cloud, Rollout, Upgrade, and Transformation projects.
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology, PMO standards, and delivery best practices.
• Lead Steering Committee meetings and executive governance reviews.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership and executive sponsors.
• Build strong relationships with CXOs, Business Leaders, and IT stakeholders.
• Manage project escalations and drive timely resolution of critical issues.
• Conduct executive‑level presentations and status reviews.

Commercial & Financial Management

• Own project and portfolio financial performance.
• Review project forecasts, revenue realization, margins, and billing milestones.
• Govern change requests, contract compliance, and commercial commitments.
• Support business growth through account mining and opportunity identification.

Resource & Team Leadership

Lead Project Managers, Solution Architects, Functional Leads, and Delivery Teams.

Drive resource planning, utilization, mentoring, and capability development.

Build a high‑performance culture focused on delivery excellence and customer success.

Support hiring and retention of key talent within the SAP practice.

Risk & Quality Management

Proactively identify and mitigate program risks and dependencies.

Ensure compliance with organizational governance standards.

Drive recovery plans for challenged projects.

Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned across engagements.

Required Qualifications
