We are building a world-class SAP consulting practice spanning GROW with SAP, RISE with SAP, Business Technology Platform (BTP), Digital Transformation, Cloud ERP, Application Management Services (AMS), and Business Consulting services.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with 5-6 years of experience in SAP implementation and program delivery. The ideal candidate must have successfully implemented 3-4 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA projects (Public Cloud or Private Cloud) and bring a solid, working understanding of SAP modules and overall SAP architecture — not deep module-level configuration, but enough functional and technical grounding to lead cross-module teams, anticipate integration issues, and speak credibly with both business and technical stakeholders.

This role is critical to ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery by driving the SAP Activate project lifecycle end-to-end — from discovery and preparation through explore, realize, deploy, and run — while coordinating closely with functional consultants (FI/CO, MM/WM, SD, PP/QM, PS, PM/EAM), technical teams (Basis, ABAP, integration/BTP), and client leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Governance

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud / SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation projects using the SAP Activate methodology
• Own project scope, timelines, budget, resourcing, and risk/issue management (RAID) throughout the full project lifecycle
• Drive project governance — steering committee updates, status reporting, change control, and milestone signoffs
• Define and track project phases: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run

Cross-Module & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate across core SAP functional modules — FI/CO, MM/WM, SD, PP/QM, PS, and PM/EAM — ensuring designs are aligned and dependencies are managed
• Maintain a working understanding of SAP architecture (S/4HANA data model, Fiori, BTP, integration layers) to identify risks, gaps, and cross-module impacts early
• Act as the primary point of contact between client stakeholders, functional/technical consultants, and leadership
• Work with technical teams (Basis, integration, CPI/BTP) to align technical architecture decisions with project timelines

Delivery & Cutover Management

• Oversee cutover planning, data migration, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and go-live readiness across all workstreams
• Manage vendor/partner coordination where third-party implementation partners are involved
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and delivery best practices across the project
• Support organizational change management and end-user training rollout
• Lead post-go-live stabilization (Hypercare) and transition to ongoing support/AMS teams

Key Skills & Expertise

• 5-6 years of overall SAP experience, with demonstrated delivery of 3-4 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (Public Cloud or Private Cloud)
• Strong command of the SAP project lifecycle and SAP Activate methodology, including phase deliverables and quality gates
• Experience running projects in agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
• Broad working knowledge of core SAP modules — FI/CO, MM/WM, SD, PP/QM, PS, PM/EAM — and how they integrate within an end-to-end business process (e.g., order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce)
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, including the simplified data model, Fiori apps, and Business Technology Platform (BTP) integration concepts
• Ability to translate cross-module dependencies and technical constraints into project plans, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Comfortable reviewing functional designs and configuration decisions well enough to ask the right questions, even without hands-on configuration experience

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams spanning functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders
• Strong communication, client-facing, and executive stakeholder management skills
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, SAP Solution Manager, etc.)
• Nice to have PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP Activate Project Manager certification preferred

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• MBA preferred
• SAP Activate Project Manager certification strongly preferred
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification advantageous
