Job summary

Capgemini in Mumbai is hiring an SAP PP/QM consultant to lead end-to-end SAP PP and QM implementations across manufacturing environments. You will analyze requirements, design solutions, configure PP/ QM modules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.

The role demands hands-on experience with Production Planning, MRP, Quality Planning, Batch Management, and SAP integration with MM/SD/WM. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM).
• End-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, and hypercare support.
• Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, PM, EWM/WM and MES.
• Process optimization and production support within manufacturing environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

• Lead and support the implementation, rollout, and enhancement of SAP PP and QM solutions across manufacturing environments.

• Configure PP/QM functionalities including Production Planning, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Batch Management, Quality Planning, and Quality Notifications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional SAP teams, and technical consultants to deliver end-to-end integrated solutions.
• Drive requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, testing, user training, cutover activities, and post go-live support.
• Support integration of SAP PPQM with MM, SD, PM, EWM/WM, and MES systems.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare functional design documents, test scripts, training materials, and knowledge transfer activities.

Your Role

• SAP QM Expertise: Quality Planning, Inspection Planning, Inspection Lots, Quality Notifications, Quality Certificates, Audit Management, Batch Management.

• Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of PPQM integration with MM, SD, PM, EWM/WM, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing Execution Systems.

• Implementation Experience: End-to-End SAP Implementations, Rollouts, Support Projects, Enhancements, Testing, Cutover, and Hypercare Support.

• Business Process Knowledge: Manufacturing Operations, Production Processes, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, Process Optimization.

• Documentation Communication: Functional Specifications, Business Process Mapping,Stakeholder Management, User Training, and Excellent Communication Skills.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in SAP S/4HANA, Fiori Applications, SAP Best Practices, and Agile Delivery Methodologies.
