Job summary

Neovatic Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant to lead SAP PP and QM implementations for client projects in India. You will work hands-on with SAP S/4HANA and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

With a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and a willingness to travel, you will configure modules, prepare functional specs, and mentor teams through data migration, testing, go-live and post-go-live support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SAP PP/QM experience required.
• Must have participated in at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong hands-on SAP PP and QM configuration.
• Good understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as required.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM). The candidate should have hands-on experience in at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations and be willing to travel based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and lead SAP PP/QM activities across the complete implementation lifecycle.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP PP and QM modules based on business processes.
• Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and process mapping.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and integrations.
• Configure and support key PP processes including:
• Master Data
• BOM, Work Centers and Routings
• Production Planning
• MRP
• Production Orders
• Capacity Planning
• Demand Management
• Configure and support key QM processes including:
• Quality Planning
• Inspection Types
• Inspection Plans
• Quality Notifications
• Results Recording
• Usage Decision
• Quality Certificates
• Work on integration between PP/QM and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO.
• Participate in data migration, testing, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support activities.
• Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, training materials, and user manuals.
• Conduct workshops and provide training/support to business users.
• Analyze and resolve production issues and provide timely functional solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel to client locations as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of relevant SAP PP/QM experience.
• Must have successfully participated in at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM configuration.
• Good understanding of end-to-end manufacturing business processes.
• Strong knowledge of integration between PP/QM and other SAP modules.
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team.
• Flexible and willing to travel to client locations based on project requirements.

Preferred

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud/Public Cloud is an advantage.
• SAP Activate methodology experience preferred.
• Relevant SAP certification is an added advantage.
