Job summary

Zensar Technologies Limited in Mumbai seeks an experienced SAP PPQM Consultant to lead and deliver SAP ECC/S4HANA PPQM projects. You will own technical delivery, gather requirements, write specs, and mentor teams while coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 7–12 years in SAP PP/QM with manufacturing domain exposure, SAP certification, and strong testing/communication skills. Expect engagement across end-to-end SAP PPQM configurations and support.”

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA experience in implementation, support and rollout projects.
• Deep knowledge of PP and QM modules, including Master Data, Work Centers, Routings, MRP, Batch Management.
• Experience in implementation and support projects in manufacturing domain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Knowledge of MES, LIMS, QMS, and Weighing Scales; testing experience (Unit/Integration/QA).
• Configuration and set-up of PPQM module through IMG; day-to-day PPQM issues resolution.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7-12 years of relevant experience in SAP PP/QM, with expertise in S4 HANA/ECC
• In-depth knowledge of PP and QM modules, including Master Data, Work Centers, Routings, MRP, Batch Management, Quality Management, and more
• Experience in implementation and support projects, with a focus on manufacturing industry domain
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic requirements
• SAP Certification and domain experience are preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor teams
• Hands-on experience in testing, including Unit, Integration, and Quality Assurance
• Knowledge of interfaces with MES, LIMS, QMS Systems, and Weighing Scales
• Experience in configuration and set-up of PPQM module, and resolving issues with existing business processes
• A highly motivated and goal-oriented individual, with a track record of client satisfaction. Experienced in configuration and set-up of the PPQM module through IMG and supporting day to day PPQM module issues, providing enhancements and translating them into system configuration requirements.
• Configured material classification, characteristics and classes; this enabled grouping together of certain materials according to a predefined criterion.
• In-depth knowledge in the below areas:
• Master Data - Bill of materials-BOM
• Work centers/ Resources,
• Routings/ Recipe, Production versions,
• Material Requirement Planning -MRP
• Configuration and Integration with, Procurement, Sales and Distribution, New strategy definition
• Batch Management
• Classification
• o Production Order Execution - Order confirmation, Goods issue, Goods receipt and Back flushing
• Designed and provided completed upload data templates for Master Data migration from Legacy system to the Core SAP system.
• Scheduling and Monitoring of Back Ground / Batch Jobs
