Job summary

TELUS Digital in Noida/Bengaluru offers a hybrid role for an experienced SAP S/4HANA MM/IM Functional Consultant to join the P2P team and support SIT execution and defect resolution.

The candidate should have strong core MM/IM knowledge, including purchasing, PR/PO, GR, inventory movements, and be comfortable troubleshooting issues independently.

Qualifications

• S/4HANA MM/IM expertise including purchasing, PR/PO, GR and inventory movements.
• Experience with S/4HANA implementations and cross-functional integrations (Ariba, Fieldglass, FI).
• Hands-on, able to analyze defects, support retesting and work with the P2P team.

Responsibilities

• Experience with S/4HANA implementations, integration testing, and cross-functional integrations (e.g., Ariba, Fieldglass, FI).
• End-to-End Testing: Test the full P2P cycle (PR, RFQ, PO, GR, IV).
• Integration Validation: Check data flows between SAP MM and FI/WM/external tools via IDoc/EDI.
• Test Management: Write test scripts, execute test cases, manage defects, and support UAT.
• Data Preparation: Set up master data, vendor records, and inventory configurations.
• Validate core Purchasing lifecycle (PR, PO, RFQ).
• Verify inventory movements (GR, stock transfers, physical inventory).
• Test backend accounting validation (IV, three-way matching, vendor payments).
• Execute SIT, UAT support, and regression test suites.
• Ideal candidate is hands-on, can analyze defects/root cause, support retesting, and collaborate with P2P team.

The Opportunity

TELUS Digital is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA MM/IM Functional Consultant to join the P2P team and support SIT execution and defect resolution. The resource should have strong core MM/IM knowledge, including Purchasing, PR/PO, GR, inventory movements, STOs, material master, valuation, and account determination, and be comfortable troubleshooting issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Experience with S/4HANA implementations, integration testing, and cross-functional integrations (e.g., Ariba, Fieldglass, FI) if possible.

• End-to-End Testing: Test the full P2P cycle, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), and Invoice Verification.

• Integration Validation: Check data flows between SAP MM and other modules like Finance (FI/CO), Warehouse Management (WM), or external tools via IDoc and EDI.

• Test Management: Write test scripts, execute test cases, manage defects, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Data Preparation: Set up master data, vendor records, and inventory configurations for accurate test runs.

• Validate the core Purchasing lifecycle, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).

• Verify inventory movements, such as Goods Receipts (GR), stock transfers, and physical inventory transactions.

• Test backend accounting validation, including Invoice Verification (IV), three-way matching, and vendor payments.

• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, and regression test suites.

• The ideal candidate is hands-on, can analyze defects/root cause, support retesting, and work effectively across the broader P2P team.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent experience..
