About Team

This team at India Development Centre is powered by highly skilled and motivated software engineers, functional consultants, and solution architects responsible for analyzing, designing, building, validating and supporting solutions for international markets that enrich the customer experience by simplifying processes for business teams and improving the lives of associates across our supply chain operations.

What you’ll do

• Ability to understand business requirements and map them with SAP processes.
• Propose solution designs, write FSDs, lead custom objects/enhancements, perform unit testing, and support business in UAT.
• Good communication skills and ability to understand design/mapping of interfaces with non‑SAP third‑party applications and SAP systems (IDOC).
• Understand business issues and data challenges, support fit‑gap analysis for projects and initiatives in the P2P stream.
• Demonstrate skills in analyzing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance.

What you’ll bring

• 5‑7 years of experience in SAP MM & IS Retail; SAP S4 HANA experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MM pricing procedures, inventory management, various procurement types, output determination, and retail master data, listing, and merchandise distribution processes.
• Configuration and hands‑on experience with Procure‑to‑Pay processes – procurement, logistics. Knowledge of push and pull methodologies.
• Good understanding and working knowledge of interfaces (IDOCs and proxy) and MM‑SD/ MM‑FI integration.
• Experience in large consolidation projects with distributed teams and hands‑on experience in one or more SAP end‑to‑end implementations.
• Good team player who can also handle tasks independently when required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management, information systems, mathematics, business, or related area *and* 2 years of experience in software engineering, consulting, DevOps, or related area.
• 4 years of experience in software engineering, consulting, DevOps, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, management, information systems, mathematics, business, or related area.
• Prior work experience in the technical integrations between SAP, Workday, and third‑party applications.
• Prior work experience using technology packages such as SAP, Workday, Infor, and Coupa based on business requirements.
• Prior work experience writing functional specifications and test scripts.
