Job summary

UST in Bangalore is seeking a SAP MM specialist with 5+ years of hands-on experience in procure-to-pay, subcontracting and vendor consignment. You will configure and support SAP MM within the broader SCM landscape, map business requirements to standard SAP processes, and drive process improvements.

You will collaborate across procurement, logistics and finance, participate in design, build, test and deployment, and support integrations with internal and external applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practical experience in SAP MM Procure to Pay and direct procurement.
• Knowledge of subcontracting and vendor consignment processes.
• Strong cross-modular understanding of procurement, logistics and finance.
• Experience mapping business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal customizations.
• Ability to train business users on SAP SCM processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering, design, build, test and deployment of SAP solutions.
• Prioritize enhancements and ensure alignment with Supply Chain objectives.
• Provide 24/7 support for a global organization and manage integrations with internal/external apps.
• Update SAP master data for MM procurement using tools like LSMW and coordinate data quality.
• Engage stakeholders across groups and lead training sessions as needed.

The Opportunity

SAP Supply Chain – MM

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities & Competency

• 5+ years practical experience supporting and configuring SAP Supply Chain areas, specifically MM – for Direct Procurement.
• Specific knowledge across special procurement processes (subcontracting, vendor consignment)
• Strong cross-modular knowledge and understanding of integration points between procurement, logistics and finance.
• Proven track record of using SAP to deliver change in the Procure to Pay area on time and to the expected quality and can:
• map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal customizations
• Identify opportunities to optimize within the current system configurations via process adherence, change management, or improved data.
• Participate in requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment of new SAP solutions
• Prioritization of system enhancements, ensuring initiatives remain aligned to business objectives of the Supply Chain leadership.
• Experienced with the 24/7 support requirements associated with operating a global organization.
• Experienced with support of integrations with internal and external applications.
• Confident with SAP master data objects related to MM-Procurement and experienced with performing master data updates with tools like LSMW
• Capable of delivering training to business users as needed on Supply Chain SAP processes and reporting
