Job summary

The Hackett Group in India is seeking an SAP MM/WM consultant with hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementations, GST processes, and cross‑module integration. You will lead material management setup, validate master data, and support go-live activities.

Responsibilities include system configuration, testing, user training, and post‑go live support, with emphasis on India tax procedures and procurement/inventory domain. Excellent communication and deadline discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have done 2 S4HANA Implementation project.
• Must have experience in GST Process.
• Experience in Procurement / Inventory Domain, External Service Management, Logistics Invoice Verification, Batch and Serial no. Management, Output Determination, Cross Module Integration, Purchasing, Pricing, Release Strategies.
• Complete knowledge of India Tax Procedures in SAP MM CIN Module.
• Experience working on SAP WM module.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and critical-thinking skills are essential.
• Should be organized and focused on delivering tasks within defined deadlines.
• Must be dynamic, flexible and possess perseverance skills.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management.
• Exhibit reactiveness and constructive approach at work with pragmatic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Setting up organization structure of material management and relevant configuration like Purchase organization, valuation area plants, storage location, and warehouse structure etc.
• Finalization of material groups, purchasing groups, payment terms, Inco terms, Pricing Procedure
• Finalization of various numbers of ranges for material master, vendor master and all purchasing and inventory documents
• Configuration of release procedure for purchasing document like Purchase requisition and purchase order
• Preparation of testing document and internal testing
• Preparation of master data templates for various object like material master, vendor master, excise master, Info-records, source list, purchase order
• Integration testing with other module PP, SD and FI/CO
• Preparing the cut over strategy for MM object
• Preparing the user manual and imparting training to business process owners
• Go-live preparation and post go live support
• Interaction with client through net meetings, calls & emails. Handling Tickets & Tasks and responsible for closing the same within defined SLAs
• Responsible for troubleshooting the issues in the system and providing support
• Executing the needed changes in configuration
• Executing the analysis and resolution of production support calls
• Raising Change Requests (CRs) and writing functional specifications for them
• Preparing test data for testing CRs (Change Requests)
• Testing CRs (Change Requests) and preparing test results
• Carrying out regression testing
• There will be some interaction with other modules consultants
• Preparing test cases, test scenarios and solution documents for the issues
• Strong knowledge in building logics to make customized reports according to business scenarios
• Strong blueprint creation skills which support the configuration of business scenarios
• Should have understanding of business objectives and organization structure
• The candidate must have strong work ethics,trustworthiness and self-confidence
• The candidate should work accurately with good attention to detail by maintaining confidentiality and integrity
• Must be highly collaborative and team oriented with commitment to excellence
