Zettamine Labs seeks an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant Lead to design and deliver scalable MDG architectures, develop data models, and enable seamless integration across SAP and non-SAP systems.

The role collaborates with solution architects and business stakeholders to translate governance and data quality requirements into robust technical solutions, supporting governance standards and migrations.

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP MDG implementations in complex enterprise environments.

• Experience with S4HANA based MDG landscapes and large scale enterprise deployments.

SAP Master Data Governance MDG Technical Consultant Lead

Role Summary

The SAP MDG Technical Consultant is responsible for the technical design development integration and support of SAP Master Data Governance solutions This role ensures high quality governed master data across the enterprise by designing scalable MDG architectures developing data models and workflows and enabling seamless integration with SAP and non SAP systems The consultant works closely with functional MDG teams solution architects and business stakeholders to translate governance and data quality requirements into robust technical solutions MDG Job Description Excel

Key Responsibilities

SAP MDG Technical Design Architecture

• Design and deliver end to end SAP MDG technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives
• Define and maintain MDG technical architecture including hub or co deployment strategies on S4HANA
• Translate functional and non functional requirements into solution delivery blueprints and detailed technical designs
• Ensure solutions meet security scalability performance and compliance requirements at an enterprise level

MDG Configuration Development

• Configure and extend SAP MDG data models including custom objects and attributes across master data domains eg Business Partner Vendor Customer Material
• Develop and enhance MDG workflows validations and derivations using BRF ensuring business rule consistency and data quality enforcement
• Implement data quality checks and support data governance best practices using MDG and related SAP capabilities

Integration Data Replication

• Design and implement MDG integrations with SAP and non SAP systems using standard and custom approaches
• Configure and support Data Replication Framework DRF and other distribution mechanisms to ensure accurate and timely master data replication
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure MDG fits seamlessly into the broader enterprise application landscape

Implementation Delivery Support

• Support SAP MDG implementations and rollouts including sizing scoping and technical planning activities
• Provide technical input to roadmaps and migration strategies leveraging reference architectures and technology trends
• Participate in testing cycles cutover activities and production support to ensure stable MDG operations

Governance Standards Collaboration

• Define and enforce technical guidelines standards and best practices for SAP MDG solutions
• Work closely with Enterprise Architects Solution Architects Technical Leads Business Analysts and Product Managers to ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy
• Provide technical mentoring and knowledge transfer to internal teams and support organizations

Required Skills Experience

Core Technical Skills

• Strong hands on experience with SAP Master Data Governance MDG
• Deep knowledge of MDG data modeling workflows BRF and DRF
• Experience with S4HANA based MDG landscapes and large scale enterprise deployments
• Solid understanding of SAP integration concepts and enterprise data architectures

Professional Experience

• Proven experience delivering end to end SAP MDG implementations in complex enterprise environments
• Experience working with custom objects enhancements and technical extensions within MDG
• Ability to assess current data systems and define the size and scope for effective MDG implementations

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to functional and business stakeholders
• Experience working in cross functional global delivery teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as an SAP MDG Technical Lead or Architect
• Exposure to cloud hosted SAP landscapes and enterprise wide data governance programs
• Experience contributing to enterprise architecture roadmaps and long term data strategy initiatives
