Job summary

Turtlemint in Mumbai, India seeks an experienced SAP B1 techno-functional Project Manager to deliver end-to-end SAP Business One implementations. You will collaborate with partners, tech teams, developers, and users to align solutions with business needs and best practices.

Responsibilities include overseeing configuration, data migration, testing, and deployments, and acting as the SPOC for changes, patches, and upgrades with a formal change-management trail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 48 years of project management experience, including SAP Business One projects as techno functional person
• SAP B1 HANA and SQL Server environments.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle ERP implementations, including working with System Integrator on enhancement, upgrade, or implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP Business One modules: Finance (FI), Sales, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Production, CRM, Service Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP B1 deployment, configuration, and data migration.
• Coordinate with SAP B1 partner, tech team, developers, and users.
• Ensure SAP B1 solutions meet business requirements and best practices.
• Oversee change-management, testing, and deployment activities.
• Serve as SPOC for patches, upgrades, and changes.
• Document, test, approve, and track changes through formal process.
• Maintain IT controls: access, segregation of duties, and provisioning.
• Record and control changes, approvals, and system configurations.
• Maintain data integrity and manage backup/recovery.
• Monitor vendor access to the system.
• Strengthen controls aligned with company requirements as a listed entity.
• Primary contact for business users, SAP support vendors, and internal teams.
• Conduct project status meetings; provide regular progress reports.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decisions.
• Training & Change Management; support user training and adoption.

Role & responsibilities:

• SAP B1 Solution Delivery & Deployment
• Work closely with SAP B1 partner, tech team, developers, and users.
• Ensure SAP B1 solutions align with business requirements and best practices.
• Oversee system configuration, customization, integration, data migration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for deployment of all changes, patches, and upgrades to SAP B1.
• Ensure every change is documented, tested, approved, and implemented through a formal change-management process, with a clear specification (type of change) communicated with technical consultants and approval trail maintained at each step.

IT General Controls

• Maintain ongoing oversight of key IT controls, including user access and authorisation, segregation of duties, and user creation, modification, and removal.
• Ensure changes, approvals, and system configurations are properly recorded and controlled.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure backup and recovery processes are followed.
• Manage and monitor vendor access to the system.
• Continuously strengthen these controls in line with the company's requirements as a listed entity.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for business users, SAP support vendors, and internal teams for all accounting software and techno-functional matters.
• Conduct project status meetings and provide regular progress reports on a timely basis.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decision-making.
• Training & Change Management
• Support user training and organizational change management activities.
• Ensure successful user adoption and post-go-live support.

Required Qualifications
