Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AMS support for SAP FICO sub-modules (FI/GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, FI-BL, FI-SL).
• Oversee CO processes (CO-CEA, CO-CCA, CO-IO, CO-PCA, CO-PC, CO-PA).
• Drive automation of reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close to reduce manual effort.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to lead finance and controlling operations within our Application Management Services (AMS) projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across SAP FICO sub‑modules, proven experience in automation of SAP financial processes, and the ability to manage and mentor a team. This role requires both functional and technical knowledge to ensure smooth financial operations, compliance, and efficiency across SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day‑to‑day AMS support for SAP FICO sub‑modules, including:
• Financial Accounting (FI): General Ledger (FI‑GL), Accounts Payable (FI‑AP), Accounts Receivable (FI‑AR), Asset Accounting (FI‑AA), Bank Accounting (FI‑BL), Special Purpose Ledger (FI‑SL).
• Controlling (CO): Cost Element Accounting (CO‑CEA), Cost Center Accounting (CO‑CCA), Internal Orders (CO‑IO), Profit Center Accounting (CO‑PCA), Product Cost Controlling (CO‑PC), Profitability Analysis (CO‑PA).
• Drive automation initiatives in SAP financial processes such as reconciliations, reporting, and month‑end closing to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Lead and mentor a team of SAP FICO consultants, ensuring effective workload distribution, skill development, and performance management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify gaps, streamline workflows, and implement best practices across FI and CO processes.
• Work with other SAP modules (MM, SD, HR, etc.) and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
• Ensure financial processes adhere to organizational policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Recommend innovative solutions and improvements to enhance SAP FICO operations and reporting capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP FICO and its sub‑modules (FI and CO).
• Proven expertise in automation of SAP financial processes using tools, scripts, or frameworks.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting, controlling, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience in AMS delivery models, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical/functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in FICO.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and AMS governance frameworks.
• Exposure to automation tools such as SAP Solution Manager, RPA platforms, or other orchestration solutions.
