Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India seeks an experienced SAP FICO lead to oversee AMS activities, manage Fixed Assets, GL, AP/AR, Bank Accounting, and Controlling processes within the Indian regulatory framework. You will drive month-end close, ensure compliance, and guide a team of SAP AMS professionals.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in SAP FICO with strong AMS exposure, robust leadership, and excellent stakeholder communication skills to partner with business users and clients.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in SAP FICO with AMS exposure.
• Strong leadership experience in SAP AMS teams.
• Deep understanding of Indian taxation: GST, TDS, withholding tax, and statutory reporting.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end FICO processes including Fixed Assets, GL, AP/AR, Bank Accounting, and Controlling.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP FICO AMS operations and governance with adherence to SLA, TAT, and KPI metrics.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities with accuracy and compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on Indian taxation processes and statutory reporting.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders, drive issue resolution and process improvements.

Your work profile

Around ~5-8 years of experience in SAP FICO with strong exposure to AMS

support environments in team lead capacity.

• Hands-on experience with Fixed Assets, GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting,

and Controlling processes.

• Strong understanding of Indian statutory requirements and compliance.
• Proven experience in managing or leading SAP AMS teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Functional Expertise SAP FICO

• Independently manage Fixed Assets Accounting, including asset lifecycle

management, depreciation runs, and reporting.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring

accuracy and compliance.

• Provide expert guidance on Indian taxation processes: GST, TDS, withholding

tax, ISD, and statutory reporting.

AMS Operations & Governance

• Ensure adherence to SLA, TAT, and KPI metrics and drive continuous service

improvement.

• Act as the primary SAP FICO point-of-contact for business users and client

stakeholders.

Project & Delivery Support

• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, feasibility checks, and

impact analysis.

• Review functional specifications, testing scenarios, and transport movement

requests.

• Support UAT, regression testing, cutover planning, and production

deployment activities.
