Job summary

GlobalWaveSoftech in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our AMS team. You will lead FI/CO support in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, drive month-end close, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes configuring FICO solutions, preparing functional specs, and delivering AMS services under SLA while mentoring junior staff and ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of SAP FICO experience.
• Experience across FI modules including GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting.
• Knowledge of RICEFW functional specifications.
• Integration with MM, SD & PP.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank).
• Support SAP CO processes (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA).
• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions.
• Analyze requirements and prepare functional specs for RICEFW developments.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Resolve production incidents and provide AMS support within SLA timelines.
• Collaborate with ABAP, MM, SD, PP and Basis teams for cross-functional solutions.
• Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
• Prepare configuration documents, process docs, and user manuals.
• Participate in enhancements, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide end-user support and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and organizational standards.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our AMS team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) within SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. The role involves supporting finance and controlling processes, resolving production issues, implementing enhancements, and collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Support SAP CO processes including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA.
• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions based on business requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications for RICEFW developments.

• Experience working with global clients is an added advantage.
