Job summary

SAP BusinessObjects seeks an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support FI/CO modules, including GL, AP, AR, taxes and COPA, with strong integration to MM/SD. The role requires 4-5 years of hands-on experience, plus ABAP reading skills and S/4HANA familiarity.

You will work across India (Delhi, Mumbai, Noida, Pune) with global clients, tackling incidents, upgrades and AMS support while aligning with best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MBA (Finance or related field).
• 4-5 years of hands-on SAP FICO consulting experience in ECC environment.
• Extensive FI/CO knowledge, including configuration and integration with other SAP modules.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP FI/CO modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL, Taxes, Cost and Profit centers, Asset accounting, Bank Accounting and Controlling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; troubleshoot FICO incidents and provide resolutions.
• Guide enhancements, upgrades and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Should have knowledge about FICO integration with MM & SD Modules, Project System, COPA, Banking - EBS & DME.
• Work on all FICO incidents, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend SAP FICO solutions.
• Stay current with SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to recommend innovative solutions.
  

Project Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, MBA (Finance or equivalent) or a related field.
• 4 - 5 years of hands-on work experience as an SAP FICO Consultant in SAP ECC environment.
• Candidate should have strong exposure in Financial Accounting i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger accounting, Taxes, Cost center and Profit center accounting, Asset accounting, Bank Accounting, Controlling.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Provide guidance and support for SAP FICO module enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Should be able to handle all FICO-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Expert understanding of Interfaces, IDocs, eDocument.
• Should be able to read and debug ABAP program.
• Should have knowledge about FICO integration with MM & SD Modules, Project System, COPA, Banking - EBS & DME.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Should be able to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• SAP certification in FICO is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
• Should be willing to work in Japan / UK / US rotational shift timings.
