Job summary

In2IT Enterprise Business Services is hiring an SAP Finance (FICO) Consultant to lead finance workstreams on GROW with SAP implementations of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. You will run Fit-to-Standard workshops, configure finance processes in SAP Central Business Configuration, and lead customers live on SAP Best Practice finance processes with Joule and embedded analytics.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of SAP FI/CO consulting with at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation
• Hands-on experience with SAP Central Business Configuration and SAP Cloud ALM
• Strong grasp of Universal Journal, parallel ledgers, and finance closing processes
• Experience running Fit-to-Standard workshops with customer finance leadership
• Knowledge of India localization plus at least one overseas market
• Excellent client-facing communication and documentation discipline

Responsibilities

• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and capture requirements, gaps, and configuration values
• Configure finance scope in SAP Central Business Configuration (3-system landscape)
• Deliver record-to-report and finance operations scope items in GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, and more
• Design and set up finance integrations with banking, tax, and premium entitlements
• Lead finance data migration using S/4HANA Migration Cockpit with reconciliation
• Build and execute test plans, drive UAT, cutover and hypercare
• Deliver clean-core extensibility within guardrails; escalate needs to BTP team
• Enable Joule capabilities and embedded analytics for finance
• Provide L2/L3 functional support under AMS model

Job description

We are hiring an SAP Finance (FICO) Consultant to lead the Finance workstream on GROW with SAP implementations of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. You will run Fit-to-Standard workshops, configure finance processes in SAP Central Business Configuration, and take customers live on SAP Best Practice finance processes — then help them adopt continuous cloud innovation, including Joule and embedded analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit-to-Standard: Plan and facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops for the Finance line of business using the Starter system; demonstrate SAP Best Practice processes and capture requirements, gaps and configuration values in SAP Cloud ALM.
• Configuration: Configure finance scope in SAP Central Business Configuration (Project Experience) — organizational structure, scoping, and configuration activities across the 3-system landscape (Development, Test, Production).
• Process coverage: Deliver record-to-report and finance operations scope items: General Ledger on the Universal Journal, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Overhead (Cost Center/Profit Center) Accounting, Margin Analysis, Cash & Liquidity Management, and Group Reporting where in scope.
• Integrations: Design and set up communication arrangements for finance integrations — banking, tax, and GROW premium entitlements such as SAP Concur Expense and Ariba Central Invoice Management.
• Data migration: Lead finance data migration using the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit — master data, balances and open items — with reconciliation and sign-off.
• Testing & cutover: Build and execute test plans, including automated regression tests in the Test Automation Tool; drive UAT, cutover and hypercare.
• Clean-core extensibility: Deliver key-user extensibility (custom fields/logic, CDS-based analytics) within clean-core guardrails; escalat[e] developer extensibility needs to the BTP team.
• Innovation adoption: Enable customers on Joule capabilities and embedded analytics for finance, and guide adoption of new scope in each half-yearly release upgrade.
• AMS: Provide L2/L3 functional support and enhancements for live GROW customers under our AMS model.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of SAP FI/CO consulting with at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation (or two S/4HANA implementations with demonstrable public-cloud delivery exposure).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Central Business Configuration and SAP Cloud ALM (Requirements, Tasks, Test Management).
• Strong grasp of the Universal Journal, parallel accounting/ledgers, and finance closing processes.
• Experience running Fit-to-Standard (or blueprint-to-standard) workshops directly with customer finance leadership.
• Working knowledge of statutory/localization requirements for India plus at least one overseas market (Middle East, Africa or SEA preferred).
• Excellent client-facing communication and documentation discipline.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud for planning and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with GROW premium-edition entitlements (Group Reporting, Concur, Ariba CIM, Build Apps).
• Experience configuring Joule for finance scenarios or working with AI-assisted processes.

Certifications & Education

• SAP Certified Associate – Implementation Consultant – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (Financial Accounting) strongly preferred; SAP Activate certification an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Engineering or equivalent; CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) a plus.
