Job summary

Neovatic Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 5+ years of relevant experience to lead SAP FICO activities on S/4HANA finance projects. You will participate in end-to-end implementations, configure FI/CO modules, and coordinate with cross-functional teams across MM, SD, PP, and PS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant SAP FICO experience.
• Must have completed at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO configuration.
• Understanding end-to-end financial and controlling processes.
• FI-CO integration and integration with MM, SD, PP, PS.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and manage SAP FICO activities across the S/4HANA lifecycle.
• Gather requirements and translate them into SAP Finance solutions.
• Perform requirement analysis, fit-gap analysis, and process mapping.
• Configure and support GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, and Taxation.
• Configure CO processes: Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA.
• Work on integration with MM, SD, PP, PS and FI-CO.
• Prepare specs and coordinate with tech teams for developments.
• Conduct unit/integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
• Support data migration activities and data reconciliation.
• Create configuration docs, test scripts, and user manuals.
• Assist cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Lead user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 5+ years of relevant experience and proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance. The candidate must have successfully delivered at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations and should be flexible to travel to client locations based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and manage SAP FICO activities across the complete S/4HANA implementation lifecycle.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Finance solutions.
• Conduct requirement analysis, fit-gap analysis, process mapping, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Configure and support SAP FI processes, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Taxation
• Configure and support SAP CO processes, including:
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Planning and Budgeting
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA Finance innovations, including Universal Journal and integration between FI and CO.
• Work on integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and PS.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and enhancements.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and regression testing.
• Support data migration activities, including data validation and reconciliation.
• Prepare configuration documents, functional specifications, test scripts, user manuals, and other project documentation.
• Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Conduct user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Analyze and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and project management.
• Travel to client locations as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of relevant SAP FICO experience.
• Must have successfully completed at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO configuration.
• Good understanding of end-to-end financial and controlling business processes.
• Strong knowledge of FI-CO integration and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and conducting workshops.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Flexible and willing to travel to client locations based on project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology preferred.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori and S/4HANA reporting/analytics is an advantage.
• Experience in international/domestic implementation projects is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional qualification such as CA/CMA/MBA Finance is an advantage.
