Job summary

Sopra Steria Noida unit is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to contribute to RICEF object development, data dictionary work, Open SQL, and ALV in an OO environment.

The role requires 6–8 years of ABAP experience, understanding of modules, and ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs and specifications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with RICEF objects: Data Dictionary, internal table operations, Open SQL, Module Pool programming and ALV (OO).
• Understanding of System Conversion/Upgrade and Module Pool concepts.
• ABAP OO, enhancements and forms knowledge; coding standards and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Understand Functional Requirements and prepare Technical design & specification independently.
• Develop and maintain ABAP components across RICEF objects with ABAP OO.
• Ensure performance and code quality aligned with SAP best practices.

Job Description

• Good hands experience on RICEF objects. Especially Data Dictionary, any kind of internal table operation, Report, Open SQL, Module Pool programing and ALV (Object Oriented Way)
• Good Understanding around System Conversion/Upgrade
• Good Understanding on Module Pool
• Fair knowledge on ABAP OOPS, Enhancements and Forms
• Know how about Coding standards, Best practices and performance tuning.
• Good analytical and debugging skills.
• Should be able to understand Functional Requirement
• Should able to prepare Technical design & specification independently.
• Understanding of at least one SAP module.
