Job summary

Sopra Steria in Noida is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to work on RICEF objects, ABAP OO programming, and system upgrade projects. You will translate functional requirements into technical designs and ensure high-quality, performant ABAP code.

The role requires hands-on ABAP OO experience, data dictionary, ALV, and module pool work, with familiarity in at least one SAP module. Noida location, full-time employment.

Qualifications

• HANDS-ON experience with RICEF objects including data dictionary, internal table operations, ALV and OO programming.
• Experience in system conversions/upgrades.
• Knowledge of ABAP OOPs, enhancements and forms.
• Coding standards, best practices and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills; able to interpret functional requirements and prepare technical designs.
• Familiarity with at least one SAP module.

Responsibilities

• Develop RICEF components per requirements using ABAP OO.
• Contribute to system conversions and upgrades.
• Design and implement Module Pool related tasks.
• Ensure code quality, performance improvements and adherence to standards.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical designs.
• Understand and implement SAP module functionality.
