Job summary

Sopra Steria Group in Noida is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP expert to develop and optimize ABAP solutions across SAP SD, MM, PP, QM, and IPPE. The role requires hands-on ABAP development, OO programming, and strong analytical skills. You will mentor a small team and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable SAP solutions.

Ideal candidates have 6-8 years of SAP ABAP experience, expertise in performance tuning, and familiarity with OData and Native HANA.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of SAP ABAP experience and related SAP modules.
• Strong ABAP development skills and performance tuning expertise.
• Functional knowledge across SD, MM, PP, QM, IPPE modules.
• Solid OO programming concepts and software architecture awareness.
• Hands-on with ABAP Workbench, Code Inspector and transport tools.
• Experience with OData and SAP HANA native development.
• Analytical mindset with ability to review solutions and mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop ABAP programs across SD, MM, PP, QM and IPPE modules.
• Perform ABAP performance tuning and code optimization.
• Review solution designs and provide assessments during roll-ins.
• Mentor and lead a 3-5 person SAP team on delivery excellence.
• Communicate findings effectively with stakeholders and teams.

Job Description

1. 6-8 years of strong SAP technology experience in multiple business and technical processes
2. Profound ABAP development experience and expert in Performance Tuning
3. ABAP Workbench, Report Programming, Module Programming, Authorizations, ABAP OOPS, Enhancements & Modifications
4. Functional expertise of business processes, master data, transactions & configuration knowledge in areas SD, MM, PP, QM, IPPE
5. Sound knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Principles and Software Architecture
6. Excellent skill in EPC, Code Inspector and Transport order tool customization.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Experience in reviewing of solutions and provide assessments during roll-in of projects and suggest improvement measures
9. Ability to work independently, and desire to learn, innovates & explores new topics.
10. Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
11. Hands on experience on oData & Native HANA
12. Technical mentor and support 3-5 people team

Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years
