Job summary

Sopra Steria in India seeks an experienced SAP ABAP professional to join our delivery teams in Noida or Bengaluru. You will design, develop, and enhance ABAP-based solutions, including Adobe Forms, and work on SAP implementation, development, and application support projects.

You will analyse business needs, translate them into scalable technical designs, and collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to ensure robust, high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Exposure to SAP HANA and ABAP on HANA concepts.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or conversion projects is desirable.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality designs.

1. 4-6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with exposure to SAP HANA.
2. Strong expertise in Adobe Forms development and enhancements.
3. Experience working on both SAP implementation/development and application support projects.
4. Good understanding of ABAP on HANA concepts, including performance optimisation and code remediation.
5. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration or conversion projects is highly desirable.
6. Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and high-quality technical designs and solutions.
7. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to deliver robust technical developments.
8. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
