Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is seeking an SAP Technical Team Lead with a strong ABAP background and 10+ years of experience to guide a 15-20 member team of functional and technical consultants, driving SAP and interface requirements for process changes and initiatives.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, translate needs into technical specifications, oversee the entire lifecycle from requirements to deployment, enforce governance, and lead ongoing optimization of SAP processes,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP experience with strong S4/HANA background.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 15-20 person team of functional & technical consultants.
• Drive SAP & Interface requirements for process changes and initiatives.

• Ensure governance, best practices, and compliance throughout projects.

Work profile

• Serve as Team Lead with ABAP Technical background to lead the team of 15-20 people of Functional & Technical consultants and as primary point of contact for the business to drive, Support & Maintain all SAP & Interface related requirement for process change & initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders and other supporting teams
• Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions. Collaborate with functional consultant and translate them into technical specifications
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure successful delivery and support
• Ensure adherence to best practices, governance, and compliance standards throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize SAP processes & Interfaces and system performance post-implementation
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality.
• Define and enforce Change Management Processes and standards within the team
• Design and develop custom SAP solutions, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW).
• Design & Customize technical solution across SAP modules like SAP HR, SD, PS, MM, and FI/CO using enhancement frameworks
• Design and support modern SAP technologies like Fiori, OData services, and ABAP for HANA
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

Team lead Qualification:

• Extensive experience in SAP ABAP, S4, both technical and functional processes
• Proven track record in managing the team and delivery
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage conflict effectively, and drive alignment on ways of working.
• Result oriented and proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excellent leadership communication written and oral and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment

Technical Qualification:

• As a Technical expert (ABAP), must have delivered solutions for multiple modules & Processes
• Strong Experience in SAP Enhancement Framework, various Interfaces between SAP & Third Party system and other SAP system
• Good hands-on experience and knowledge is required on OData, CDS, AMDP
• Experience in Dialog Programming, Smart Forms, SAP Script, User Exits.
• Dictionary, Business Add-In, BADIs, Data Interfaces, RFC, ALE, ALV, IDOCS, BDC, BAPI, BDC, LSMW, Web-UI.
• Experience in SQL Trace, SAP Run time analysis, Debugging ABAP, Query Info Sets.
• Strong Experience in SAP change driven environment for Process Enhancement
• Knowledge in web services (SOAP/REST/HTTP POST).
• Good to have BTP, Fiori, UI5, ML, and AI knowledge.
• Adhering and contributing to guidelines and quality standards.
• Good to have experience with SAP Cloud Platform, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
