Job summary

Infosys Limited in India is seeking an SAP ABAP - HR Developer to join our consulting team. You will diagnose customer issues, craft design-driven solutions, and assist with deployment to achieve client delight. You will also develop proposals and contribute to solution design using your expertise.

The role requires 5+ years of SAP HR-ABAP experience, strong OOPs, BADI, and IDOC/PI skills. You will participate in configuration, demonstrations, and guiding both projects and teams to quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HR- ABAP environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with OOPs concepts, BADI, Report and Module Pool Programming.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose customer issues and design solutions to enable deployment and client delight.
• Develop proposals and provide inputs in solution design based on expertise.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HR- ABAP Environment
• Strong hands on Experience with OOPs concepts, BADI, Report and Module Pool Programming, LDB and OOPs
• Experience in handling data transfer mechanism using IDOCs, Interfaces through PI
• Fair Technical Knowledge of working with WDA, FPM, Workflows, Smart Forms, ADOBE, ESS/MSS Applications
• Good understanding of the HCM Functionalities to be able to prepare high quality Technical Specifications as per the requirements
• Good Communication skills and available to mentor the team
• Any experience on UI5, S/4 HANA will be added benefit
