Job summary

Infosys Ltd in India seeks a senior SAP HR-ABAP specialist to join its consulting team. The role requires deep expertise in SAP HR-ABAP, OOPs, BADI, report and module pool programming, IDOCs and PI interfaces, plus WDA, FPM, workflows, and forms.

You will mentor the team, prepare technical specifications, contribute to design and proposals, and help plan configurations and pilots as part of complex SAP deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HR- ABAP Environment.
• Strong hands on Experience with OOPs concepts, BADI, Report and Module Pool Programming, LDB and OOPs.
• Experience in handling data transfer mechanism using IDOCs, Interfaces through PI.
• Fair Technical Knowledge of working with WDA, FPM, Workflows, Smart Forms, ADOBE, ESS/MSS Applications.
• Good understanding of the HCM Functionalities to be able to prepare high quality Technical Specifications as per the requirements.
• Good Communication skills and available to mentor the team.
• Any experience on UI5, S/4 HANA will be added benefit.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose customer issues and design innovative SAP solutions.
• Develop proposals and contribute to solution design based on area of expertise.
• Configure product per design and support conference room pilots.
• Prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgets and organizational guidelines.
• Lead small projects and deliver high quality value-added solutions to customers.
• Demonstrate solutions and conduct POCs/ workshops as needed.
• Collaborate with teams to support digital transformation initiatives.

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
