Job summary

Sopra Steria in Noida is seeking a Technical Lead with strong SAP ABAP and Native HANA expertise to design, develop, optimize, and architect scalable backend solutions for SAP landscapes.

You will work hands-on with Native HANA, CDS/Calculation Views, SQLScript, ABAP enhancements, and OData services, while mentoring teams and driving best practices. 6-8 years of experience and a BE/B.Tech are expected.

Qualifications

• Total experience 6-8 years in SAP ABAP and SAP HANA environments.
• Location: Noida Only.
• Qualification: B.Tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of SAP backend solutions.
• Hands-on development in Native HANA, ABAP, CDS/Calculation views.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to development teams.
• Estimate effort and perform code reviews.
• Ensure integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and other systems.

Role Overview

• Technical Lead with strong expertise in SAP ABAP and Native HANA to lead the design, development, optimization, and technical architecture of scalable SAP backend solutions.
• Hands-on experience in Native HANA, Calculation Views, CDS Views, SQLScript, and developing complex ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, interfaces, APIs, and OData services.
• Strong knowledge of HANA push-down techniques, efficient data modeling, performance optimization, and SAP development, security, and coding best practices.
• Experience integrating with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other enterprise systems, while translating functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, solution design, and effort estimation while guiding development teams.
• Excellent understanding of SAP backend technologies with experience delivering high-performance, maintainable, and enterprise-grade solutions across SAP landscapes.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development
• Strong knowledge of SAP Native HANA development and performance optimization (Calculation/CDS Views, Code Pushdown)
• Experience developing OData services and APIs
• Strong knowledge of SQLScript and HANA data modeling
• Experience with enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, and SAP integration mechanisms
• Familiarity with modern ABAP development tools (ADT / Eclipse)

Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years
