Sanitary Inspector -Housekeeping Supervisor

The Sanitary Inspector / Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for hospital cleanliness supervision, sanitation inspection, housekeeping staff management, infection control support, waste management, duty allocation, and hygiene compliance at SMS Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires a Graduate or Diploma qualification with 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, sanitation, or hospital support services.

• Supervise housekeeping staff and daily cleaning activities across hospital areas.
• Inspect wards, ICU, OT, OPD, toilets, corridors, public areas, and patient rooms for cleanliness.
• Ensure proper sanitation, disinfection, hygiene, and infection control practices.
• Allocate duties to housekeeping staff and monitor shift‑wise work completion.
• Check biomedical waste segregation, general waste handling, and disposal practices.
• Maintain housekeeping checklists, cleaning schedules, attendance records, and material usage details.
