Webpipl in Hyderabad is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design and implement scalable UI and API tests for Salesforce Lightning, LWC, and APIs. You will build robust frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Provar, or WebdriverIO and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
The role emphasizes data-driven testing with Salesforce data strategies, managing sandboxes, API automation with REST/SOAP, and delivering reliable test reports.

Responsibilities Design and implement scalable UI and API automated tests for Salesforce (Lightning, LWC, Aura, Classic when applicable). Build robust test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Provar, WebdriverIO, Robot Framework) integrated with CI/CD pipelines. Create data-driven tests leveraging Salesforce test data strategies; manage test environments and sandboxes. Automate regression, smoke, and end-to-end scenarios across profiles, permission sets, and complex page layouts. Implement API automation for REST/SOAP endpoints, including validation against Salesforce objects via SOQL. Collaborate with admins, developers, and product teams to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria. Instrument test reporting (pass/fail rates, defect trends) in CI dashboards; optimize flakiness and execution time. Contribute to test strategy, coverage analysis, and risk-based testing for release readiness. Required Qualifications 3+ years in test automation with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce Lightning. Proficiency with one or more: Selenium, Cypress, Provar, WebdriverIO, Katalon, Robot Framework. Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, objects, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and permissions. Experience with REST API automation (Postman, RestAssured) and SOQL. CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and SFDX scripting. Solid grasp of test design techniques (BDD/TDD, Cucumber/Gherkin, TestNG/JUnit) and mocking/stubbing patterns."
