Job summary

Altumind Digital Consulting LLP is seeking an Associate with 4 to 6 years of Test Automation experience focused on Salesforce web applications. The role requires quick domain understanding, strong communication with business owners and developers, and hands-on experience in Agile environments to design robust test suites.

You will write BDD-style tests, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software with strong end-user experience.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of Test Automation experience with Salesforce web applications.
• Ability to grasp domain quickly and translate requirements into UI/UX expectations for end users.
• Experience in Agile environments and communicating with both business owners and developers.
• Must have knowledge of CI/CD and cloud (AWS/Azure) for designing test suites.
• Proficient in writing BDD test cases manually and converting them into scripts.
• Able to articulate bugs/defects with development teams and understand business impact.
• Familiarity with bug repositories and standard testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design test suites for Smoke, Regression, Build, Integration, and API testing.
• Develop reusable test frameworks and decide on common components for front-end applications.
• Collaborate with upstream (business/product) and downstream (developers/UX) teams to ensure quality.
• Act as gatekeeper for quality before rolling changes to users, and articulate issues clearly.
• Create/configure scripts for CI environments to support automated testing.

Job description

Associate having 4 to 6 years of Test Automation using Salesforce web applications.

Should be able to quickly understand the domain and understand the requirements in terms of UI / UX, services to be developed and end user experience.

Should have worked in Agile environment. He / She should have strengths to communicate on both - upstream side (Business owners, Product users) and downstream side (developer, UX developer).

Should have very good understanding of application development, frameworks, tools, terminology.

CICD, AWS / Azure knowledge is must and should be able to design the test suite for each kind of testing: Smoke, Regression, build, integration, API etc.

Should be able to write BDD test cases manually and convert them to scripts.

Should be able to articulate bugs / defects with development team and impact on business.

Should be aware of Bug repositories and any tools as necessary.

Process Skills

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Deep knowledge of Java and commonly used modules.

Tools for bug tracking, reporting of application test status to all users.

Experience with building the infrastructure for serving the front-end app.

Ability to decide on developing common components and customizable interfaces.

Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments.

Articulate requirements into development needs and follow up with stakeholders.

Test application and be the gatekeeper for development before rolling it to users.

Developing test suite framework that could be reused for all applications.

Should be able to demonstrate analytical skills and deep understanding domain vis‑a‑visa the user experience.
