Job Title: QA Functional Tester & Automation

EXP- 4 to 8yrs

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr Test Engineer - Automation with a strong focus on Salesforce QA using AccelQ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our Salesforce applications through rigorous testing methodologies. This role requires a deep understanding of both functional and automated testing processes, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
• Utilize AccelQ for automation testing to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Participate in test strategy discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans and test case repositories.
• Provide training and support to junior testers and team members on testing best practices and tools.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficient in Salesforce QA processes and methodologies.
• Strong experience with AccelQ for test automation.
• Solid understanding of functional testing principles and practices.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in software testing or Salesforce will be an advantage.
