Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a Salesforce Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for Salesforce applications. You will validate Salesforce deployments across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Agentforce features, and drive API testing with modern tools.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of software testing experience with strong automation focus, Selenium, Java, and Salesforce testing tools.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in software testing with focus on automation.
• Hands-on testing Salesforce apps.
• Strong in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber.
• Experience with Salesforce testing tools (Provar, Copado Robotic Testing).
• Knowledge of Salesforce Cloud modules and platform features.
• Experience in API testing and automation.

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in automation testing for Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Agentforce features. This role will focus on building scalable test automation, validating integrations, supporting release readiness, and ensuring high‑quality Salesforce delivery.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for Salesforce applications.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT testing.
• Validate Salesforce implementations including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Agentforce features.
• Perform API testing and automation using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Execute performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Support security validation and compliance testing activities.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, and QA leads to ensure quality deliverables.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Participate in release validation, deployment verification, and production support activities.
• Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing with strong focus on Automation Testing.
• Hands‑on experience testing Salesforce applications.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber, or equivalent automation frameworks.
• Experience with Salesforce testing tools such as Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Salesforce platform functionalities.
• Experience in API testing and automation.
• Strong understanding of Regression, UAT, Integration, Load, and Security testing methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or equivalent test management tools.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD processes, and DevOps practices.
• Experience testing Salesforce Agentforce and AI‑enabled Salesforce solutions is good to have.
• Exposure to Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is preferred.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification, Healthcare or Life Sciences domain experience, and exposure to Copado, Gearset, or AutoRabit will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and within Agile/Scrum teams with a strong focus on quality, process improvement, and continuous learning.
