Hydro Prokav Pumps, an Ingersoll Rand business, is seeking a Sales Manager for the South Region. You will drive sales of screw pumps, high-pressure pumps, and descaler systems across South India, building relationships with EPCs, distributors, OEMs, and engineers.

The role requires an engineering degree in mechanical and 10+ years of industrial equipment sales experience, with a proven ability to identify opportunities and close complex deals across oil & gas, power, chemicals, and marine

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical should be completed.
• 10+ years of sales or business development experience in industrial equipment.
• Experience selling pumps or fluid handling equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategy for the South Region.
• Manage customer relationships and sales cycles end-to-end.
• Penetrate markets, expand customer base, and forecast sales.
• Provide technical knowledge and support to customers.
• Report sales activity and forecast future orders.
• Customize solutions to meet client needs.

Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth of Screw pumps , High pressure Triplex plunger Pumps and Descaler systems across the Southern regions. This role will involve building and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers, identifying market opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle. The profile will work closely with the technical and support teams to deliver customized solutions to clients in diverse industries such as Oil and gas, Steel and Cement, Power , Chemicals, Oil terminals and Marine.

Basic Qualifications

• Technical qualification : Engineering degree in Mechanical.
• 10+ years of experience in sales or business development in industrial equipment, ideally with experience selling Pumps or similar fluid handling equipment.

Residential/Hybrid – covering the South Region

Key Competencies

• Strong network within key industries such as Oil and gas, Steel and Cement, Power, Chemicals, and Marine
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to offer technical solutions to complex challenges.
• Experience working with EPC’s/Distributors, OEMs, Consultants and engineering contractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP will be a plus.
