Role Description

The Sales Manager, Animal Nutrition will lead and grow sales of animal nutrition and related homeopathic products in Kerala, India. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves managing a sales team, setting regional sales targets, and driving market expansion among veterinarians, distributors, and livestock farmers. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting field visits, presenting product benefits, and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. The role also includes developing sales plans, monitoring performance metrics, coordinating with marketing and technical support teams, and ensuring excellent customer service and after-sales support. The Sales Manager will contribute to product feedback, competitive analysis, and training initiatives to strengthen Curewell's presence in the animal nutrition segment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including account management, territory planning, and negotiation.
• Candidates should possess skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and customer service to support veterinarians, distributors, and farmers.
• Candidates should possess skills in basic data analysis, reporting, and use of CRM or sales tracking tools to monitor performance and forecast demand.
• Candidates should possess communication and presentation skills to explain product benefits, conduct product demonstrations, and deliver training sessions.
• Candidates should possess knowledge or experience in animal nutrition, veterinary pharmaceuticals, or related livestock/animal health domains.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field are preferred.
• Prior experience in field sales, especially in animal health or agri-input sectors, and familiarity with the Kerala market will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in the field, travel extensively within the region, and maintain ethical, non-discriminatory professional conduct is required.
