Job summary

Kornferry in Gurugram, India seeks a seasoned professional to expand the liquid industrial business in farm and construction equipment segments. You will engage OEM customers, manage multi-level relationships, and drive cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities include product trials, new product approvals, trainings at Tier-1 suppliers, and translating customer needs into innovative solutions. Travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Chemical Engineering, Paint Technology or Chemistry with relevant coatings exposure.
• Experience building OEM/customer relationships and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven problem-solving with data-based decision-making abilities.

Essential Functions

• Develop new customers in Farm Equipments & Construction Equipments segment for liquid Industrial business in the said territory.
• Development of sustainable relationships at different levels of OEM customer.
• Implementation / Monitoring / Coordination of OEM related projects.
• Conducting trials and establishing new products on customer line with the help of Technology team.
• Adding New Product approvals at OEM
• Conducting / organizing various Trainings & audits at various Tier-1 vendors of OEM.
• Handling trouble shooting activities related to product & Colors through technical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering/ Paint Technology/PG in Chemistry.
• Adept at working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Experience working in a global environment a plus.
• Knowledge of paint industry - Agricultural and construction equipment OEM
• Must possess at least 5-7 years of relevant coatings industry experience with proven track record.
• Ability to influence customers and establish strong customer relationships.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and leading multi-functional teams without direct control.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with data-based decision-making capability.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into product offerings / solutions.
• Strong communication skills along with Proficiency in MS Office is a must with presentation skills. Experience using SalesForce.com and information databases a plus.
• Ability to collaborate and build teamwork is essential.
• Ability to travel extensively based on need.
