Job summary

Swiggy is seeking a field-and-office sales professional for Bengaluru to sign contracts with restaurants and actively pursue new partners. You will lead end-to-end onboarding, nurture long-term relationships with owners, and drive business growth while managing sales operations and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in sales, basic Excel skills, and a proactive, adaptable attitude. FMCG or Horeca backgrounds are strongly preferred, with a strong customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 1+ years of experience in sales.
• Preference for candidates from FMCG or Horeca backgrounds.
• Knowledge of e-commerce activities and online marketing channels.
• Confident, Pleasing and a go-getter personality.
• Analytical with good Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Sign contracts with restaurants and handle inquiries from existing and new clients.
• Gather sales leads from the market and onboard restaurants as Swiggy partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners and advise on market-related issues.
• Manage sales administration, performance reporting, and streamline processes to support senior management.
• Develop a business plan covering sales, revenue, targets, and brand presence, while controlling expenses.
• Handle potential clients on field as first point of contact and represent Swiggy in the market.
• Be the face of Swiggy in the market and uphold company values.

Job Description:

• Sign Contracts with restaurants along and handling the inquiries from existing and new client
• Gather sales leads from the market and approach restaurants actively, from no star to 5 stars and get them on board with Swiggy as a partner.
• Maintaining a strong relationship with restaurant owners and advising them on issues related to the market and offering solutions on the same
• Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
• Responsible for managing the sales individually, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, agreed targets, and promoting the organizations presence and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organizations presence.
• Should be able to handle potential clients when on field as the first in command.
• Being the face of Swiggy in the market and standing up for the values we believe in.

Desired Candidate:

• Graduate with 1+ years of experience in sales domain.
• Preferred candidates from FMCG or Horeca background
