Job summary

Havells, a leading electrical equipment company, is looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Talent Acquisition and Field HR Operations team. You will drive manpower planning, onboarding for sales hires, policy compliance, and field HR governance.

Responsibilities include performance coordination, incentive alignment, engagement initiatives, grievance handling, and exit management. The ideal candidate has an MBA in HR and 4+ years in an HRBP role with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• MBA in HR from Premier institute is required.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in HRBP role.
• Excellent communication skills expected.

• Pipeline Management: manage recruitment pipeline.
• Manpower Alignment: forecast hiring needs with sales heads and define TAT.
• Induction & Joining: coordinate offer rollouts and onboarding for sales hires.
• Policy Implementation: ensure field staff understand policies and reporting structures.
• Performance Tracking: coordinate reviews and monitor sales KPIs.
• Rewards & Appraisals: support incentive structures and merit-based increments.
• Engagement Initiatives: design retention programs to reduce attrition.
• Grievance Handling: act as primary contact for employee concerns and conflicts.
• Exit Management: conduct exit interviews and report actionable feedback.

Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning

• Pipeline Management:
• Manpower Alignment: Collaborate with regional and sales heads to forecast hiring needs, define turnaround times (TAT), and fulfill quotas efficiently.

Onboarding & Field HR Operations

• Induction & Joining: Coordinate offer rollouts, joining formalities, and comprehensive induction programs for new sales hires.
• Policy Implementation: Ensure field staff understand company policies, reporting structures, and compliance standards.

Performance Coordination & Incentives

• Performance Tracking: Coordinate regular performance reviews, track sales KPIs, and flag employees needing support or performance improvement.
• Rewards & Appraisals: Support competitive incentive structures, annual appraisal calibration, and merit-based increment discussions aligned with sales metrics.

Employee Engagement, Retention & Grievances

• Engagement Initiatives: Design tailored engagement and retention programs to lower early attrition common in high-pressure sales roles.
• Grievance Handling: Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
• Exit Management: Conduct structured exit interviews, analyze attrition trends, and report actionable feedback to leadership.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA in HR from Premier institute with minimum 4+ years of experience in HRBP role.
