The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets by promoting and selling the company's agricultural products through distributors, dealers, retailers, and direct farmer engagement. The role focuses on expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, conducting product demonstrations, providing technical guidance to farmers, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction to maximize crop productivity and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Promote and sell the company's agricultural products through distributors, dealers, retailers, and direct farmer interactions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Expand the dealer and retailer network to increase market penetration and market share.
- Ensure product availability across the assigned market.
- Prepare and execute territory development plans to drive sustainable business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and farmers.
- Conduct regular market visits to strengthen customer engagement and identify business opportunities.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop long-term relationships with key channel partners and customers.
- Educate farmers and channel partners on product features, benefits, dosage, and application methods.
- Conduct field demonstrations, farmer meetings, crop seminars, and promotional campaigns.
- Assist farmers in identifying crop-related issues and recommend suitable company products.
- Support new product launches and promotional activities.
- Collect market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activities, pricing, and product performance.
- Identify and appoint new distributors and dealers in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor dealer inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Coordinate with distributors for stock movement, sales planning, and promotional activities.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain healthy collections.
- Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR), Weekly Sales Reports (WSR), and Monthly Sales Reports (MSR) on time.
- Maintain accurate records of field visits, demonstrations, customer meetings, and sales activities.
- Update CRM and sales applications with accurate and timely information.
- Prepare sales forecasts and territory development reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture), Agribusiness, Horticulture/Any Graduate
- Candidates with relevant sales experience may also be considered.
